Big Island Music Academy will hold auditions and a meet and greet today at 3:30 p.m. in Kailua-Kona.
The auditions are for BIMA’s after-school music program for students ages 10 and up that begins Aug. 31. Both beginner and intermediate levels are welcome. Students who sing or play the the following instruments are encouraged to try out: bass, guitar, piano, drums, trumpet, trombone, saxophone. Rate is $60 per month.
BIMA is located within Edible World Institute off Kopiko Street.
