Eleanor Reyes Cambra, 79, of Pahoa died Aug. 20, 2016, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Dec. 19, 1936, in Honolulu, she was a homemaker.

Robert “Rob” Louis Tveter, 65, of Ocean View died Aug. 20, 2016, at his residence. Born April 14, 1951, in Nome, Alaska, he was a retired auto body specialist.

He is survived by wife, Melissa Tveter of Ocean View; sister, Elizabeth (Stephen) Willey of Sandpoint, Idaho; brother, Paul (Pat) Tveter of Purdy, Wash.; hanai brother, Terry O’Brien of Ocean View; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lorna Mae Ferriera

Lorna Mae Ferriera, 72, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 17, 2016. Born Feb. 13, 1945, in Honolulu, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by son, Lionel Ferrierra of Hilo; daughters, Laura (Edward) Esguerra, Lilia Bard of California, Jeannie Ferreira of Hilo; sisters, Charlotte Tapang, Barbara Jean Tapang; brothers, Raymond (Miyung), Eugene (Lilia) Tapang, Michael Tapang, Allen Tapang; four grandchildren.

Jerome William DuRuz, 90, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 24, 2016. Born April 8, 1926, in St. Louis, he was a World War II Navy veteran and owned a jewelry business.

Dorothy Terumi Seki Ichikawa, 79, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 7, 2016, at her residence. Born June 25, 1937, in Imperial City, Calif., she was a retired educator.

Adeline C. Luiz, 101, of Hilo died Aug. 3, 2016, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Olaa, she was a retired babysitter and a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau.

Kikuyo Yoshimura

Kikuyo Yoshimura, 96, of Hilo died Aug. 14, 2016, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born Oct. 18, 1919, in Hilo, she was the co-owner of the former Yoshimura Gas Station and member of Hakalau Jodo Mission and Hakalau Senior Citizens.

Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.

She is survived by daughters, Jean (Timothy) Flynn of Gig Harbor, Wash., Anne (Henry) Okazaki of Hilo; sons, Melvin (Elda Rae) Yoshimura of Marysville, Calif., Clyde (Arlene) Yoshimura of Mililani, Oahu; sisters, Sueno Shioi and Kiyono (Albert) Nakamura of Honolulu; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
