One of three alleged ukulele robbers arrested

Police have arrested one of the three men believed to have stolen an ukulele, wallet and cellphone from a man at Kuhio Beach.

Kawa Salas, 28, Glenwood, was discovered hiding in bushes near where the robbery allegedly happened on Thursday morning. He is charged with second-degree robbery with a bail set at $5,000.

Police said one of the three men held the victim down while the other two took the property. The three men fled on bicycles, police said, and officers are investigating the identities of the other two men.
