The Kona Visayan Club in cooperation with the Hawaii County Office of Elections will hold a voter educational session Monday evening in Kailua-Kona.
At the event, attendees will be walked through the process of completing a voter registration form and applying for absentee ballot, as well as how to properly fill out a paper ballot or vote electronically. A voting machine will be brought to give attendees hands-on experience.
Ilokano, Visayan and Tagalog interpreters will be available to assist.
The session, which is free and open to all, runs 6-7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Light refreshments will be provided.
