The Kona Palisades Artists Group will host its third annual “Open Studio Tour” on Nov. 19-20 in Kailua-Kona.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, nine Big Island artists who live in close proximity to each other in the Kona Palisades Estates area will open their studios to the public for touring and artists’ demonstrations of their work process with an opportunity to purchase art and get a jump on your holiday shopping.

The nine artists are Roberts Bates (watercolors); Stefanie Culbertson (watercolors); Debra Dolsberry (silk painting); John Gaukel (mixed media); Cynthia Hankins (photography); Barbara Hanson (polymer clay); Bill Jaeger (stained glass); Kathleen Jaeger (acrylic painting and mosaic); and Bill Twibell (gyotaku, or fish printing).

This is a self-guided open studio tour to meet the nine artists at five locations with their art displayed in their studio or presentation space. The first stop of the tour is on Holoholo Street and signs will be posted at the remaining stops.
