Kailua-Kona library offers Thanksgiving craft

The Kailua-Kona Public Library Children’s Section is offering a “thankful turkey” craft suitable for ages 2 and older. The activity is offered from Wednesday through Nov. 23 in the Children’s Section.

Hoopono teacher to address support group for the blind

The National Federation of the Blind West Hawaii Chapter welcomes Theone Suzuki, the Hoopono teacher for the outer islands, to its meeting at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Hale Halawai.

Hoopono is the state agency for the blind. It offers training and assistance for those who are losing their vision. Suzuki will give an update on available services.
