Hawaii Island police are asking for information about some unusual items stolen in a burglary outside Honokaa. The property was stolen from a vacant house in the Ahualoa area sometime between Sept. 1 and Nov. 13.

The items included a World War II 6.5 millimeter Arisake rifle, 200 antique milk and soda bottles, two old spear guns, ammunition, kitchen knives and an Old McCullough brand chainsaw.

Police ask anyone with any information about this case or the stolen items to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Robert Border at 775-7533.

People who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
