A Waipio Valley murder investigation is complete and results have been sent to the prosecutor’s office, Hawaii County police said Wednesday.
Police on March 3, 2016, responded to a report of a body partially submerged in a stream.
Thaine Ulysses Lucifer Price, 49, of Honokaʻa was transported to Hilo Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said early on that he had been murdered.
Now, nearly a year later, the police department says detectives have concluded their investigation and “the case has been routed to the office of the prosecuting attorney for review.”
