From Russia with love

I am sure our so-called President Donald Trump knew about Flynn’s dealings with Russia, and this needs to be investigated, this is a crime.

If this were the Democrats, then Republicans would be foaming at the mouth to put them in jail. Probably Guantanamo. Manafort has Russian ties, Flynn has Russian ties, Secretary Of State Tillerson has ties to Russia, Hacking of DNC — Russians.

False anti-Clinton campaign stories — Russian planted. Please tell me why there aren’t subpoenas flying around the White House and RNC? Can you even imagine all the congressional investigations that the Republicans would demand if this were taking place in our last administration or if Secretary Clinton was our president?

Let’s see them put Flynn through 11 hours of congressional investigation like they did HRC.

Thanks for tourney success

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who made last month’s fifth annual Mayor’s Cup Softball Tournament a huge success. Specifically, thanks go to the Kupuna Softball community of Kona, (Jackie Rey’s, Palapala, Kona Gold, and Kona Legends) and the Big Island Visitors Bureau.

The tournament, which consisted of 10 men’s teams and seven women’s teams, has more than doubled in participation over this four-year period. Players come from all over the mainland and other Hawaiian islands to play.

Over the years, the tournament has generated over $50,000 for Hawaii Island local charities. This, combined with generating over an estimated $300,000 in commerce annually for Kona businesses, makes this tournament a very beneficial endeavor.

Thanks again to all that participated.
