Nonfiction book club meets Tuesday

Kona Stories hosts a nonfiction book club discussing “The Wright Brothers” by David McCullough on Tuesday.

The group meets at 6 p.m. at the bookstore. Book groups are free if books are purchased at Kona Stories, or a $5 donation is requested.

The No. 1 New York Times bestseller from David McCullough and two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, “The Wright Brothers” tells the dramatic story-behind-the-story about Wilbur and Orville Wright.

In this book, McCullough shows as never before how two Ohio boys from a remarkable family taught the world to fly and captures the marvel of what the Wrights accomplished. McCullough draws on the extensive Wright family papers to profile not only the brothers but their sister, Katharine, without whom things might well have gone differently for them.
