Hawaii Island Police are looking for a Hilo girl who was last seen more than a week ago.
Destani Mendoza, 16, has been reported missing and was last seen in Hilo on Feb. 19.
She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 105 pounds with brown eyes and wavy brown hair.
Police request that anyone with information on her whereabouts contact the Hawaii Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the Islandwide Crime Stoppers at 961-8300, which keeps all informant information confidential.
