Cindylnee White

Cindylnee White’s brothers were mistakenly excluded from her obituary that published Friday.

She is also survived by her brothers, Harry (Doreen) Kapea, Jr., and Antone (Denise) Cosma, all of Kailua-Kona.

Allyson Alvarado

Allyson Faith Baclig Alvarado, infant, of Pepeekeo died Feb. 26, 2017, at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu. She was born Jan. 3, 2017, in Hilo.

Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. March 15 at Dodo Mortuary chapel with a 6 p.m. wake service. An all-night vigil will follow after 9 p.m. at the family residence in Pepeekeo. Friends may also call for visitation from 8-10 a.m. March 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo with a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire; burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section.

She is survived by parents, Cristy Baclig and Bernard Alvarado of Pepeekeo; brother, Jordan Khyle Baclig Alvarado of Pepeekeo; maternal grandparents, Lydia and Arnulfo Baclig of Pepeekeo; paternal grandparents, Paulina and Eufemio Alvarado of Keaau; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, great-grandparents.

Iluminada Mendoza

Iluminada “Luming” Mangaoang Mendoza, 88, of Keaau died Feb. 3, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Nov. 28, 1928, in Aringay, La Union, Philippines, she was a retired factory worker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. March 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo with a 7 p.m. wake service. Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. March 18 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Keaau with a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 4. Casual attire.

She is survived by sons, Gregorio Mendoza Jr. of Keaau and Wilfredo Mendoza of Hilo; daughters, Incarnita (Reynaldo) Hernando of Keaau and Jennie Theresa (Gary Dugger) Mendoza Dugger of St. Matthews, S.C.; brothers, Lorenzo (Gloria) Mangaoang of Hawaiian Beaches and Rizalino (Florentina) Mangaoang of Keaau; sister, Elena Ladines of the Philippines; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary Satomba

Gary “Champ” T. Satomba, 70, of Mountain View died March 6, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 31, 1946, in Hakalau, he was a retired Staff Sergeant for the Hawaii Army National Guard and a security guard at Hilo Medical Center.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. March 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Casual attire; flowers and lei are welcomed. Burial will be at noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by daughters, Michele (Lloyd) Ishii of Hilo, Jessica (David) Green of Utah; sons, Brandon Satomba of Las Vegas, Jeffery (Dori) Satomba of Maui, Timothy (Martina) Satomba of Arizona; mother, Olivia Satomba of Hilo; sister, Judy (Joseph) Pereira of Honolulu; brothers, Robert Satomba of Hilo, Wayne (Connie) Satomba of Ocean View, Max (Lynda) Satomba of California; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Yukiwo Tara

Yukiwo Nemia Tara, 75, of Kurtistown died Feb. 18, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. He was a substitute teacher and a deacon of the Kosrae Hilo Congregational Church and a member of the First United Protestant Church in Hilo.

Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. March 17 at the First United Protestant Church in Hilo with a 6 p.m. service. Casual attire, flowers are welcomed. A final committal service will be held in Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia at a later date.

He is survived by wife, Niokong Tara of Kurtistown; sons, Palokoa (Jocelin) Tara of Kurtistown, Tara (Jeancia) Tara of Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia, Surleigh (Eleanor) Tara of Ontario, Calif., Burleigh (Sepe) Tara of Killeen, Texas; daughter, Hanna (Frank) Alokoa of Hilo; 18 grandchildren; sisters, Sadako Nena and Benista Charley of Kosrae, Federated State of Micronesia; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ernest Leite

Ernest Leite, 77, of Waimea died March 2, 2017, at his residence. He was born Dec. 18, 1939, in Pepeekeo he was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad Company as a special agent. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Visitation will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. March 16. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Casual attire is requested.

He is survived by wife, Maria Leite of Waimea; son, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Leite of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; daughters, Robin Leite of California, Veronica Leite of Upland, Calif., Faith Roberts of Ponte Verde, Fla., Mary Mc Combs of Placentia, Calif. and Elaine Leite of Corona, Calif.; brothers, Alfred (Norma) Leite Jr. of Papaikou, Walter (Luana) Leite of Hilo, Herbert Leite, Gabriel Leite, Harold (Janice) Leite, all of Papaikou and Michael (Sandy) Leite of Mountain View; sisters, Betty Puakea of Hilo and Marie Matsumura of Papaikou; hanai sons; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; an aunt and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
