New cookbook club offered
A new cookbook club is being created at Naalehu Public Library.
The library will host an introductory meeting at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday featuring a chef demonstration by Chef Rachael. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for future club meetings during the inaugural event.

FOLK Book Club to discuss ‘Euphoria’
Friends of the Libraries, Kona Book Club meets at 11 a.m. Tuesday on the Kailua-Kona Public Library lanai.
This month’s selection is “Euphoria” by Lily King.
Inspired by events in the life of revolutionary anthropologist Margaret Mead, “Euphoria” is King’s nationally bestselling breakout novel on three young, gifted anthropologists of the 1930s caught in a passionate love triangle that threatens their bonds, their careers, and, ultimately, their lives.
The book club next meets in April to discuss “Death Comes to the Fair” by Catherine Lloyd. Lloyd is a Big Island resident and will be in attendance.

Travel book club meets Tuesday
Kona Stories hosts a travel book club discussing “Terra Incognita: Travels in Antarctica” by Sara Wheeler on Tuesday.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. at the store. Book groups are free if books are purchased at Kona Stories, or a $5 donation is requested.
