Final Boyd Bond talk offered in Kapaau

North Kohala Public Library in Kapaau will present “Kamehameha IV: Alexander Liholiho and Queen Emma,” a talk story session led by North Kohala historian Boyd D. Bond on April 10 at 6:30 p.m.

His knowledge of Hawaii’s history stems from his academic studies and a lifetime spent in Hawaii as a 6th generation descendent of early western settlers in Hawaii. Boyd was raised in Hawaii in a sugar plantation family, living on plantations throughout the state.
