Winifred Maii

Winifred Moana Mew Lan Maii, 81, of Mountain View April 9, 2017, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Oct. 20, 1935, on Oahu, she was a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. May 5 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo with a 10 a.m. funeral service. Cremation will follow. Casual attire.

She is survived by, son, Wilfred (Lynn) Maii of Oahu; brother, Alex (Christy) Chang of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Evelyn Kekoolani of Oahu; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Reynold Crivello

Reynold Manuel Crivello, 70, of Hilo died March 19, 2017, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 30, 2017, in Hilo, he was a retired telephone facilities technician for Hawaiian Telephone Co. and a Navy veteran. He also was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou.

Friends may call for visitation from 9-9:45 a.m. May 6 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou with a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire and no flowers and lei are welcomed. A visitation and celebration of his life will continue from noon to 2 p.m. May 6 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel with a luncheon. A private urn burial will be held at a later date at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2

He is survived by wife, Jermayne Crivello of Hilo; sons, Paul (Jessie) Crivello and Mark Crivello of Hilo, Royden (Jessica) Crivello of Pahoa; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Margaret Hua

Margaret Ann Hua, 67, of Honaunau died April 26, 2017, at her residence. Born July 13, 1949, in Chicago, she was a retired salesperson for Kona Inn Jewelry.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 p.m. May 6 at the family’s residence, 84-4847 Keala O Keawe Road in Honaunau. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Charles Hua III, of Honaunau; son, Derek (Tina) Byers of Frankfort, Ind.; sister, Sandra Barborek of Orlando, Fla.; one niece, one nephew, Thomas (Bambi) Barborek of Joliet, Ill.

Shigeko Yoshimura

Shigeko Yoshimura, 75, of Keaau died March 29, 2017, at home. Born in Aichi, Japan, she was an export company owner and a member of New Hope Puna.

Private family services were held on April 29.

She is survived by husband, Ralph Yoshimura of Keaau; daughters, Yuka (Pastor Morris) Niimi of Keaau, and Maki Kato of Aichi, Japan; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
