Crash coverage hurt locals

I cannot believe your headline about Latinos in mourning over the accident. We are all so very sad that three people lost their lives, but they lost their lives because of the two Latino males in the 4 Runner speeding and trying to overtake a bunch of cars.

What about the other local couple that was doing nothing wrong and which ended their relationship and one of their lives? What about raising money for our local people, or is the Latino vote better for your readership that has dropped below 9,000? The local man from Waimea had five kids, his wife is still in the hospital hanging on to her life, but you guys are worried about raising funds to send the other two back to their country. Should we not be trying to raise money for the local family who has lost their father and husband and whose mother is in the hospital, for who knows how long?

Trust me, I am a Christian and I do not want to see anyone lose their life like this, but please be fair to the local community because without them you would not have a job. I can tell you I will think very hard and long before I extend my subscription.

Don’t cry, Dems

My heart goes out to all other liberals/Democrats who are having their feelings hurt by the political cartoons that show some of the truth about the left. We all know that Hawaii is more left than most states but that is their problem from making bad choices for the past 50-plus years.

Those of us who support the right have put up with cartoons and nastiness from the left for over a year and a half. Perhaps if we cry and pout WHT won’t print anti-Trump or anti-Republican trash in the future?
