Another farce
Another new owner with a grand plan to screw the local golfer population and make a lot of money developing property for the wealthy.
I have news for you, Terry Clark and anonymous new owner, it’s not going to work any better than it worked for the many previous owners in the last several years. It’s a cute little course but it’s not Mauni Lani, Mauna Kea, Waikoloa Beach, or Kona Country Club. Those courses were designed to be surrounded by expensive houses. Yours is not. Most fairways are adjoining and don’t provide sufficient space for development.
Additionally, the course is not irrigated and fairway conditions depend on weather for playability. Not to mention that the course is so remote that going out for a quart of milk would require about a one hour round-trip on a very dangerous two-lane blacktop road.
I think the wealthy visitors will find they have a lot of better options closer to civilization. So all you local golfers don’t lose any sleep over missed tee times. This too shall pass.

Cowards behind Manchester attack
I see that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the Manchester attack. I question the masculinity of the leadership of an organization which brags about the killing of an 8-year-old girl, among others.
I wonder what Allah would say about the masculinity of a person who brags about killing an 8-year-old unarmed girl.

Watch the Democrats stumble around in a daze — dizzy, confused and clueless as to what they need to do about this ego maniac. Will he start a nuclear war and destroy our civilization? We certainly hope not, but who knows? We are in for a 10-coupon ride with this one!
