Community work days offered at Ahupuaa of Puanui
From 9 a.m.-noon this Thursday, next Monday and Tuesday, volunteers are needed to help weed, open ground, organize mulch, plant, thin or sickle the land.
Participants will meet at the gate at 8:30 a.m. for a brief hike and tour for first-time visitors. Wear clothes for any kind of weather — wet, cold, windy or hot. Bring aloha, lunch, a refillable water bottle and work boots. Tools, gloves and a jug of water will be provided.
