From 5:15-7 p.m. Aug. 3, Waimea Community Association will welcome home Waimea members of the Hokulea worldwide voyage crews, with reflections on the 42,000-mile Malama Honua experienced by Captain Chadd Paishon, Captain Pomai Bertelmann and others.
County Council members will also provide an update on council business. There is no charge to attend the public meeting. Monthly meetings are usually held in Waimea School cafeteria. The location may be changed. For updates go to www.Facebook.com/WaimeaCommunityAssociation.
