Words &Wine Tuesday in Keauhou
Susan Scott, Tricia Gunberg and Rochelle delaCruz will be featured during Kona Stories Book Shop’s Words and Wine event at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Keauhou Shopping Center.
Scott and Oscar “Wally” Johnson, the undisputed world expert on Pacific Golden-Plovers, combined their knowledge to create “Hawaii’s Kolea: The Amazing Transpacific Life of the Pacific Golden-Plover,” a handy, reliable source of information for both general readers and ornithology specialists.
Gunberg, a Big Island resident, is the author of “Say Yes to Who You Are to Create Fitness,” the first in a planned series.
Hawaii resident delaCruz is the author of “Hawaii Ways,” a collection of short, humorous observations that were first written for and aired on public radio stations in Hawaii and Washington and now revised for reading.
Following a more formal book presentation from each author there will be a Q&A session. The event concludes at 8 p.m.
