Fernando Tagalicod
Fernando Agno Tagalicod, 61, of Pahoa, died Aug. 3, 2017 at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 23, 1956, in Sarat, Ilocos Norte, Philippine, he was a heavy equipment operator for Sanford’s Service Center and the former Puna Sugar Plantation Co.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. on Aug. 24 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. An all-night vigil will follow at the Tagalicod’s residence at 15-3235 Hoopili St. in Pahoa. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. on Aug. 25 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section). Casual attire; flowers are welcomed.
He is survived by wife, Faye Tagalicod, of Pahoa; mother, Briginia Tagalicud, of Hilo; son, Lloyd (Carrie Konanui) Tagalicod, of Pahoa; daughters, Jodi (Leo) Agonias, Abigail (Tommy Une) Tagalicod and Vicky Tagalicod, all of Pahoa, and Briginia Tagalicod, of Hilo; six grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Teresa Ells
Teresa Lynn Ells, 66, of Keaau, died July 31, 2017, at her residence. Born on March 1, 1951, in Laupahoehoe, she was a retail clerk for the former Orchid Isle Hotel.
Friends may call at noon on Aug. 26 at the Hilo Women’s Club in Hilo for a service.
She is survived by husband, David Ells, of Keaau; daughters, Yvette (Earl Moses) Ells, Shontell (Kulani) Calina and Fanchette (Ryan) Nagata, all of Keaau; mother, Marcelina Guerpo, of Hilo; step-mother, Kathy Guerpo, of Kailua-Kona; hanai mother, Crispina Quitoriano and Julia Cuaresma, all of Paauilo; sisters, Tania (Terry) Delfin, of California, Marcie Vicente, of Keaau, Taryn Mahuna, of Nevada, and Mallory (William) Kaipo ,of Hilo; brother, Tyrone (Samantha) Guerpo, of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eusebia “Bia” Agluba Mamuad, 84, of Waimea, died July 11, 2017, at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born on March 5, 1933, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she worked at a vegetable farm in Waimea.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2017, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 7 p.m. service. An all-night vigil to follow at the family residence in Waimea. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. on Aug. 26 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 10 a.m. Mass. Buria to follow at Honokaa Catholic Church Cemetery. Casual attire.

Jane Lincoln Jonolino, 82, of Kapaau, died July 27, 2017, at residence. Born March 27, 1935, in Kohala; she was a retired telephone operator for the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and a member of the Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Ahahui Kaahumanu Kohala Ch. 9.

Samuel K. Kamoku, 78, of Hilo, died July 21, 2017, at his residence. Born in Molokai, he was a retired truck driver for HT&T, deacon and member of The Gospel of Alpha and Omega Church.
