Police seek suspect in fatal Pahoa hit-and-run

HILO — Police said Thursday evening they have located a pickup truck involved in a fatal midafternoon hit-and-run crash on the Pahoa bypass stretch of Highway 130.

The collision, reported about 2:51 p.m., left a motorcyclist dead at the scene, according to authorities. The Hawaii Fire Department said the victim was a 40-year-old man.

No other information was available as of press time.
