Native Hawaiian medicine seminar offered to health care providers this Monday

North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH) will host “Western Legislative Impacts on Traditional Medical Practice,” a Native Hawaiian medicine seminar for health care providers, from 6–7:30 p.m. Monday in the hospital’s Mauna Kea-Mauna Loa room.

This free seminar is open to health care providers from throughout the island and will be presented by Helen Wong Smith, executive director of the Kauai Historical Society. She has served as archivist for Queen’s Medical Center and the Pacific Island Network of the National Park Service.
