Patriot Day Putting Contest to benefit Folds of the Honor Foundation
Golfers can change lives one putt at time by participating in the charity event between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Kings Course in Waikoloa Resort. Sinking a ball will win a prize.
Those who participate will make a donation to the Folds of Honor Foundation and enter to win a limited edition Titleist Golf Bag. The cost starts at $5 for one putt and entry, $10 for two putts and entries, or $20 for four putts and four entries.
Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth a singular, noble mission to stand in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war by providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation. There is no need to register.
