Clarita Dela Rosa

Clarita Dela Rosa, 76, of Honokaa died Sept. 6, 2017, at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. Born in Puunene, Maui, she was a retired waitress at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Orchid at Mauna Lani.

Friends may call 8–9:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial to follow at the Honokaa Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire.

She is survived by daughters, Georgia (Ernest) Kaohimaunu of Honokaa, Yolanda Dela Rosa of Honolulu, Donna (Stuart) Carpio of Oregon; son, Clayton Dela Rosa of Honokaa; brothers, Vincent (Diana) Ganon of Honolulu, Francis (Danelle) Ganon of Keaau, Roland Ganon of Honokaa, Larry Ganon of Honolulu; sister, Cynthia (Len) Miyamoto of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lindy Kuamoo

Lindy Mitsuko Baculpo Kuamoo, 43, of Hilo, died Sept. 5, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born on May 30, 1974, in Hilo, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hilo and was formally employed at the Hawaii Tribune-Herald as a circulation manager and worked at the Bank of Hawaii.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave., in Hilo for a 7 p.m. service. Casual attire and no flowers.

She is survived by husband, Cade Kuamoo of Hilo; sons, Ryan (Chaynee) Kuamoo, Rich Kuamoo of Hilo, Rusty Kuamoo and Reagan Kuamoo of Hilo; mother, Evelyn Fujii Costello of Honolulu; father, Rodney Baculpo of Hilo; sisters, Sharrie Lei Baculpo of Hilo and Mandie Baculpo Apfel of Wisconsin; maternal grandmother, Helen Fujii of Honolulu and paternal grandmother, Linda Baculpo of Hilo; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donald Swain

Donald Patrick Swain, 65, of Hilo, died Aug. 27, 2017, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a member of Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. Sept. 15 at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keaukaha for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by sister, Laverne (Pete) Costa of Hilo; brother, Dennis (Mickey) Swain of Wisconsin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
