Estrelia Alleman

Estrelia Tagayuna Alleman, 61, of Hilo, died Aug. 23, 2017, in Hilo. Born Sept. 22, 1955, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a housewife and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. on Sept. 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Joseph Alleman of Hilo; hanai daughters, Jocelyn Uclusin of London and Susan Molina of Hong Kong; brothers, Osmundo (Francisca) Tagayuna, Pedro (Neda) Tagayuna and Romeo (Loida) Tagayuna, all of the Philippines; sisters, Octaviana (Gavino) dela Cruz, Argentina Marquez and Juanita (Pedro) Uclusin, all of the Philippines; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice Yamaguchi

Alice Kazue Yamaguchi, 90, of Waimea, died Aug. 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Hollister, California on April 19, 1927, and was retired from the former Sure Save Supermarket in Waimea as a cashier.

Private services were held. No flowers.

She is survived by son, Craig (Carol) Yamaguchi of Waimea; brothers, James (Frances) Yoshiyama of Fremont, California, and Andy (Kathie) Yoshiyama of Monterey Park, California; sisters, Grace (Haruo) Kasai of Fremont, California, and Patricia Hori of Seaside, California; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Raymond Kinney

Raymond Rayner Haliimaile Kinney, 88 of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 15, 2017. Born April 26, 1929, in Honolulu, he worked as a general manager in hospitality.

Private services will be held.

He is survived by son, Rayner Kinney Jr. of Hilo; daughters, Leimana (Robert) DaMate of Ka’u; Rhana (Peter) Matsuoka of Holualoa; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Martin Eisgruber

Martin Christopher Eisgruber, 62, of Hilo, died Aug. 28, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Syracuse, New York, he was a self employed electrician.

Private services to be held.

He is survived by wife, Cheri Eisgruber, of Hilo; son, Christopher Eisgruber of Albany, New York; Daughter, Melissa Eisgruber of Hilo; brother, Rupert (Judy) Eisgruber, of New Baltimore, New York; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
