Auntie’s Angels went down to Hookena Elementary School’s back to school open house, Sept. 13.

The group met parents and students and passed out saimen soups, protein bars and fresh fruit. The charity also brought down free books to share. The Angels also presented each teacher with a $100 gift certificate to help with classroom needs. The grant money to provide the certificates was provided by Makoa Wahine’s – Lady Elks.
