From 6-9 p.m. Oct. 27, Hamakua-Kohala Health will host the free Breast Cancer Awareness event at North Hawaii Education &Research Center.

Also sponsored by AlohaCare, the event will include a costume contest and more than a dozen vendors and informational booths including flu shots, A1C testing, Hale Ho’ola Hamakua, Blue Zones Project, Food Basket of Hawaii, Tutu &Me: Home Visiting Program, DOH West Hawaii Public Nursing with information about mumps and rat lungworm, Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi plus LuLaRoe, Pretty Please Boutique, doTerra Oils and 101 Financial.

Entertainment will be provided by Tahitian group Kia Ahi, Zumba with Sue Lang, line dancing with the Honokaa High &Intermediate School Family Academy Dancing Program and Beverly Hiraoka.
