Boyd Bond will give the second of three Hawaiian history talks at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at North Kohala Library in Kapaau.

In this presentation he will explore the origins of the Polynesian people across the Pacific, and trace the history of the peopling of the Hawaiian islands up to the time before Kamehameha the First’s great-grandfather, Keawe’Ikekahi’aliiokamoku, for whom this island, Moku O Keawe, is named.
