Tracey Akau
Tracey Dean Akau, 63 of Waimea, died Sept. 9, 2017, at her home. Born Aug. 14, 1954, in Hilo, she was the manager/buyer for the Parker Ranch Store in Waimea.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Oct. 28 at the Kahilu Town Hall in Waimea; visitation 10-11 a.m.; service at 11 a.m. Aloha attire requested. Family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Akau Hale following the services for food, music and fellowship.
She is survived by husband, Arnold Akau Sr. of Waimea; daughters, Hilari (Douglas) O’Dell of Hilo and Mia (William) Akau-LaClair of Waimea; son, Arnold (Tammie) Akau Jr. of Kawaihae; eight grandchildren; brother, Paul (Georgianne) Murray of Hilo; sisters, Leslie (Ford) Pascual of Volcano and Sharon (Robert) Martins of Hawaiian Paradise Park; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Placida Glory
Placida Pearl Glory, 76, of Kealakekua, died Oct. 21, 2017, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 11, 1941, in Kealakekua, she was a savings supervisor for American Savings Bank, and member of Kona Hawaiian Civic Club, Professional Secretary International, Kona Chapter and member of South Kona Catholic Churches.
Wake service will be held 5-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Kealakekua; 6 p.m. rosary. Visitation will continue at the church at 8 a.m. Oct. 28 with a 10 a.m. mass and burial at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Klein of Chicago; son, Lloyd (Shari) Glory of Ravensdale, WA; brothers, George (Lei) Cabilin of Captain Cook, Martin (Marcia) Cabilin of Kailua-Kona, Charles (Min) Cabilin of Kent, WA; sisters, Ramona (Raymond) Ciriaco of Captain Cook, Julita (Edgar) Spencer of Waimea, Maura (James) Patao and Brenda (Michael) MacMullen, both of Kailua-Kona, and Irene (William) Castelline of Des Moines, IA; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Maxine Uilani Navor, 69, of Olympia, Washington, and formerly of Honokaa, died Aug. 15, 2017, in Olympia, Washington. Born in Honokaa, she was a homemaker.

Fumiko Lapier
Fumiko Yamasaki Lapier, 90, died on Oct. 3, 2017, in Honolulu. Born May 8, 1927, in Honolulu, she was retired as a housekeeper for YMCA in Honolulu.
