Alipio Castro
Alipio Agtagma Castro, 86, of Honokaa, died Oct. 14, 2017, at his residence. Born on Nov. 19, 1930, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines; he was a retired steward for the Hyatt Regency/ Hilton Waikoloa Village in the Kohala Coast of Hawaii and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
Friends may call 8-10 a.m. Nov. 4 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa for a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire and flowers and lei are welcomed. Burial at the Honokaa Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Brigida Castro of Honokaa; daughters, Anacleta (Gerry) Romero and Adel (Cora) Castro of Honokaa, Florencia (Ernesto) Pasalo of Maui; sons, Basilio Castro and Victorino (Caroline) Castro of Honokaa, Bonifacio (Mary Jane) Castro of Paauilo, Robert (Maryln Grace) Castro of California; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law; sister-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Masaru Nitta
Masaru Nitta, 102, of Hilo, and formerly of Kahului, Maui died Oct. 6, 2017, at his residence. Born in Paia, Maui, he was a retired machinist for Hawaiian Commercial &Sugar Company, member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Kahului Hongwanji Mission and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, anti-tank company, 442nd Regimental Combat Team during World War II.
Private services held. Family requests no flowers and no koden.
He is survived by daughters, Gail (Dexter) Shimabukuro of Hilo, Faye (Earl) Maruishi of Honolulu; sisters, Yoshino Okazaki of Honolulu, Mildred Tsukuda of Kauai, Mary Wakamatsu of Maui, Ethel Okabe of Waianae; brother, Ray (Doris) Nitta of Honolulu; one sister-in-law; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Kaneyasu Enomoto
Kaneyasu “Kane” Enomoto, 90, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 25, 2017, at his residence. Born Sept. 2, 1927, in Tokyo, Japan, he was a retired Japanese tour business owner and member of Daifukuji Soto Mission.

He is survived by wife, Michiko Enomoto of Kailua Kona; daughters, Joanne Hara of Honolulu, Julie Enomoto of California; hanai son, Jeffrey Iwabuchi of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tomoe Nishi
Tomoe Nagahisa Nishi, 94, of Hilo, died Oct. 11, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired secretary from the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture, former Japanese radio announcer for KPUA, and member of Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Iwalani Kumiai.
Private services were held.
She is survived by sons, Noel Nishi of Seattle, Wash., Patrick (Mary) Nishi of Honolulu, Ross (Yuki) Nishi of Hilo; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Allen Dillon
Allen Dillon, 68, of Volcano, died Oct. 23, 2017, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in California, he was a behavioral health therapist at Hilo High School, Waiakea High School and The Arc of Hilo.
No services. Donations in memory of Allen Dillon may be made to the Hawaii Island Humane Society in Keaau.
He is survived by daughter, Michelle Grodsky of Texas; sons, Michael Dillon of California, Thad Dillon of California; mother, Joann Cantelmo of New Mexico; sister, Angela (David) Bartley of New Mexico; 2 grandchildren.

Lorrin Thompson
Lorrin Wailani Thompson, 58, of Kainaliu, died Sept. 21, 2017, at his family’s residence. Born on May 30, 1959, in Keekee, South Kona, he was a commercial fisherman and building construction worker.
Private services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his sisters, Valerie Corcoran of Kainaliu, Iris (Kevin)n Thompson of Waimea, Lori (Bobby) Weeks of Keauhou Mauka, and Daphne (Jimmy) Thompson-Washburn of Kainaliu; several aunts; 12 nieces, a nephew, and numerous cousins.

Ryoh Shiomi
Ryoh Shiomi, 69, of Keaau, died Oct. 25, 2017, at home. Born in Hoya, Japan, she was a Japanese tour guide for Roberts Hawaii, kimono master, and Japanese language instructor.
