Ex parte petition forms for temporary restraining orders (TRO) can now be dropped off at the South Kohala District Courthouse in Waimea. Victims can access the form 24/7 at the Waimea police station. After hours, the dispatch can be contacted via a phone by the door to request a TRO packet. Petitioners’ address and phone number be kept confidential.
Forms are also available in the courthouse next door in the self-help section from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. A completed form and petition for TRO must be submitted together.
