WAIKOLOA VILLAGE — Beginning at 10 a.m. Dec. 9, the 13th annual Waikoloa Village Christmas Parade will commence along Paniolo Road in Waikoloa Village.

The event is co-sponsored by the Waikoloa Village Association and Waikoloa PTSA.

The parade will start at the corner of Waikoloa Road and Paniolo Road and wind down the hill to Waikoloa School. Paniolo Road will be closed between 10 and 11 a.m. that morning.

A Keiki Fest will follow the parade from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school. There will be free food and games for the keiki, and vendors for adult visitors. Kids who attend will also be entered in a drawing for a bicycle and other prizes.

The Snow King or Queen will be featured in the parade, along with several other dignitaries, local businesses and cars. The Snow King/Queen will be the winner of the Lions Club essay contest on sight and the college scholarship that goes with it.
