Free program helps businesses

A program helping Hawaii’s small businesses succeed locally and overseas is about to kickoff. The Hawaii Pacific Export Council (HPEC) has teamed up with (DBEDT) again for the 2018 HiSTEP Export Program. It has become the best, most comprehensive program in the state, and it’s free.

HPEC, DBEDT and some of Hawaii’s most successful small businesses, have streamlined the important knowledge from a wide range of experts. Over the next year, they are offering a series of seminars and one-on-one sessions, for the sole purpose of educating Hawaii’s small businesses on how to grow and succeed globally. They are the best in the state at removing barriers and creating big opportunities.

The HiSTEP Kick-Off includes a series of free seminars across the islands.

Kona’s seminar is scheduled for 8:45-11 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Hale Iako, on the NELHA Campus, 73-970 Makako Bay Drive next to the airport in Kailua-Kona.

Registration is due Friday. To register visit https://histep2018-intro-kona.eventbrite.com.
