WAIMEA — Dr. Karl Moon, a board-certified cardiologist, has joined the team at North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH).

Dr. Moon is a graduate of The John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Hawaii Integrated Medical Residency Program. In addition, he continued at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis to complete his fellowships in cardiology and advanced echocardiography.

Dr. Moon has 20 years of private practice experience in cardiology in Arizona, and holds certifications from the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Diseases.

NHCH’s Health &Wellness Cardiology Clinic, where he works, is located at the Hale Ola Pono business center on Kawaihae Road in Waimea. An appointment can be made with Dr. Moon by calling 887-CARE.
