WAIMEA — During winter break, Parker School will offer a Winter Arts Workshop from 9 a.m.-3 p.m Dec. 18-22 for all community kids grades K-8.

Space is limited. The deadline to register is this Thursday.

Participants in the Visual & Performing Arts Enrichment Workshop will create high-quality, handmade holiday art for loved ones, explore the theater arts and prepare for an end of the week musical theater showcase. Activities include acting and scene study, ceramics and pottery, techno and hip-hop, acrylic and watercolor, jewelry and mixed media, musical theater, games and prizes, and edible art.

Parker’s Enrichment Program provides members of the community the opportunity to extend academic learning, improve educational and employment skills and enjoy enriching, lifelong learning experiences.
