KAILUA-KONA — A woman is in police custody after she reportedly struck a man with a vehicle Friday afternoon at Old Kona Airport Park.
The incident, reported around 4:30 p.m., occurred on the north end of the old runway. The area is currently cordoned off as police investigate the incident.
The extent of the man’s injuries were unknown. He was taken by medics to Kona Community Hospital.
