From 5-7 p.m. Saturday, “Aloha Expressionism by Contemporary Hawaii Artists” and the book’s featured artists will be celebrated at a book-signing reception for earning an Award of Excellence at the Ka Palapala Poʻokela Awards. The event will take place at both Tiffany’s Art Agency and Wishard Gallery in downtown Hawi.
The locally published coffee table book was curated and designed by Tiffany DeEtte Shafto, and features 50 artists across the state who have participated in local juried exhibits, received awards or worked in the Hawaii State Art Museum. The book is also available on Amazon.com.
