Kailua Park Tennis Courts closing for renovations

The Kailua Park tennis courts will be closed for construction from Tuesday until August. Due to a delay in construction, the tennis courts will remain open through Monday. The tennis courts will be closed until the project is completed.

While the construction is being conducted, Kealakehe High School has agreed to allow public use of its tennis courts. For availability and information, contact Victor McDaniel at 327- 3566 or Mason Souza at 961-8740.

The project will include installation of a new court surfacing system, new LED lighting system for nighttime play, replacement of the fencing fabric and related enhancements. Some utility and other work performed at certain times outside the secure construction area may temporarily restrict vehicular access to the parking area nearest the horseshoe pits. The County respectfully requests the public’s assistance in honoring the contractor’s work site and ongoing construction operations.

Project info: Eydie Komata, 961-8311.
