Between 3-8 p.m. this Friday, teens and adults can audition for the Tony Award winning musical, “Spring Awakening,” that will premiere at Kahilu Theatre in June. The story explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood and touches on several sensitive coming-of-age subjects, especially relevant today. Participants and legal guardians are asked to review the subject matter of the show before the auditions.

Director Beth Dunnington is looking for 11 males and females in ninth grade to early to mid-20s to play teenagers ages 14 to 18; and one female and male 20 to 40 years of age to play multiple non-singing adult roles in the show. A call back date will be announced after auditions.
