UPDATE: Hawaii Island police have located a 37-year-old Mountain View woman who was reported missing Thursday morning.

Naomi Glimane was located in good health on Thursday evening in Keaʻau.

Hawaii Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing camper on the Puna coastline or Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Naomi Glimane, 37, was camping with her family on the coast off Makuu Drive. She was last seen taking a walk along the shoreline at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and has not been seen since.

Personnel with the Hawaii Police and Fire departments have conducted a search of the area while an HFD helicopter conducted an aerial search of the coastline.

Glimane is described as being “local,” having a tan complexion, long black hair and measuring 5-feet-2-inches in height and weighing 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt and had a backpack and a blanket.

Anyone with information on her location or whereabouts should call the police nonemergency number at 935-3311.
