Lions Club of Kona offering scholarships

The Lions Club of Kona has available four scholarships of $1,000 for four-year colleges and two $500 scholarships for two-year community colleges or other two-year post secondary programs.

For 2018 Konawaena High School graduates, Lions Club of Kona, Lion William and Bertha Paris Memorial Scholarship and the Lions Club of Kona, Lion Donald Sasaki/Cal-Kona Produce Scholarship and two general $1,000 scholarships will be awarded this year. Two general $500 scholarship applications will be awarded to two-year programs as well.

Applications are available through Konawaena College and Career Center through Ms. Allison Serina or Mrs. Bobbie Awa. Deadline for these scholarships is April 30 at the end of the school day to the Konawaena College and Career Center.
