Rude Ka’u residents speak volumes

At the Naalehu Community Center on April 14, I watched the meeting on SpinLaunch unfold, embarrassed for the visitors who were hardly allowed to speak. Residents launched out at the top of their voices with nasty, downright vulgar language at them.

Where was their aloha love? They were definitely not raised with it.

They kept screaming out about their “sacred land.” I could not help but chuckle. If it is so sacred, why is there still trash being dumped anywhere it can be dumped, due to not having a promised, permanent trash transfer station in Ocean View at the place called “The Rummage Road?”

Has anyone seen the broken-down vehicles sealed tight together on Ocean View Street and Tiki Lane and throughout the island? All this will take a lot of convincing on how really sacred this island really is?

Then take a good look on who is running the show.

The poor children still do not have access to drinking water that was promised. County Council member Maile David saw the condition of the park and said she would renew the old playground.

Where do the children even have a place to play on skateboards? It is no wonder children cannot enjoy it, no one cares about the children.

Take a good look at who is running the show. Just collecting a paycheck.
