Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Henriques Cabral, 58, of Captain Cook, died March 26, 2018, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Jan. 7, 1960, in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker.

Raimundo Ladore

Raimundo “Raymond” Ladore, 69, of Hilo, died April 14, 2018, at Hawaii Care Choices’ Pohai Malama Care Center. Born on March 15, 1949, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, he was an archaeologist guide for Pohnpei.

Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. April 23 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo for a 6 p.m. funeral service. A graveside committal service will be held at 11 a.m. April 24 at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.

He is survived by, wife, Emerita “Merko” Ladore; sons, Raynard, James and Kulian; daughter, Rosemary; 11 grandchildren.

Loretta Sextimo

Loretta Hualani Sextimo, 67 of Hilo, died March 12, 2018, at Pohai Malama in Hilo. Born on Aug. 4, 1950, in Hilo, she was a retired security guard for Hertz.

A celebration of life will be held at noon April 28 at Honaunau Beach Park.

She is survived by son, Alfred T. Sextimo; daughter, Jessie Ann Somalinog; brother, Agapito Sextimo Jr.; sisters, Kathleen Sextimo, Mercy Sextimo, Beatrice Sextimo; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Denise Bowers

Denise Lynn Bowers, 55, of Kailua-Kona, died April 16, 2018, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Oct. 9, 1962, in Puyallup, Wash., she was a retired administrative assistant for The Boeing Company, youth leader and mentor for Future Business Leaders of America, and a member of the American Diabetic Association.

Private service to be held. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetic Association.

She is survived by mother, Margaret Bowers of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Mark (Peggy) Bowers, Jeffery (Lori) Bowers all of Washington, Paul (Valerie Crosby) Bowers of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara M. Frost

Barbara M. Frost, 81, of Keaau died on April 8, 2018, at Kinolau Malama Care Home. Born in California, she was a retired office manager for Sake One Brewery.

She is survived by sons, Griffith David Frost, and Thomas Mitchell Frost; daughters, Kristin Frost Albrecht, and Katherine Frost Kamakahi; sisters, Frances Mitchell Frost, and Monica Yamamoto-Hoffman; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Reiko Ito

Reiko Ito, 89, of Hilo died March 31, 2018, in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was an office clerk for Excelsior Dairy and a member of Hilo Meishoin.

She is survived by children, Gordon (Joy) Ito of Honolulu, Charlotte (Steven) Ito-Reynolds of West Virginia and Lori (Kyle) Ito-Chock of Hilo; sister, Aiko Nakamura of Honolulu; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Frank Miller

Frank Christopher Miller, 56, of Hilo died on March 15, 2018. Born Oct.26, 1961, in San Pablo, Calif., he was a retired freelance construction worker.

Celebration of life will be held on April 26 at Honolua Bay on Maui Island.

He is survived by fiancée, Rhonda Guest of Hilo; brother, Robert (Betsy) Miller of California; sister, Linda Warren of Washington; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fusae Nakano

Fusae Nakano, 96, of Naalehu, died April 8, 2018, at home. Born in Pepeekeo, she was retired from the former Ka’u Sugar Company, a cook and member of Naalehu Hongwanji Mission and Buddhist Women’s Association.

Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts.

She is survived by daughter, Yvonne Nakano Heckman of Chester Springs, Pa.; sister, Sachiko Oishi of Honolulu; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricio Ceria Rabanzo

Patricio Ceria Rabanzo, 73, of Keaau, died March 29, 2018, at the Kona Community Hospital. Born on March 11, 1945, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a vegetable farmer.

Friends may call from 8:30-10:30 a.m. April 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. celebration of Mass. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed at Homelani Memorial Park.

He is survived by wife, Zenaida Pacleb Rabanzo of Hilo; sons, George (Nilda) Rabanzo and Ricardo (Criselda Renon) Rabanzo of Philippines, Christian Rabanzo of Hilo; daughters, Jesusa (Robert) Barrileaux and Riza Mae Rabanzo of Hilo, Aurelia (Jerome Salvador) Rabanzo of Philippines; sisters, Irene (Ceferino) Riambon and Norma (Benito Utrera) Rabanzo of Kona; brother, Simenon (Norma) Rabanzo of Philippines; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Carole Baker

Mrs. Carole Lee Baker, 76, of Ocean View, died March 3, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 28, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was a retired registered nurse. She was a hospice volunteer on Oahu and Big Island and a mediator with Neighborhood Justice Center on Oahu.

A memorial service will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 28 at the family’s residence, 92-1623 Luau Drive in Ocean View. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to Hawaii Nature Conservancy.

She is survived by her daughters, Marya Baker of Volcano and Heather Baker of Ocean View; sister, Judy Strini of Pittsburgh; a niece and grandniece.
