KOHALA COAST — Jaisy Jardine has been appointed director of public relations at Mauna Kea Resort. She assumed the position May 2 and brings extensive PR, marketing and website experience to the resorts two properties: Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.
Born and raised in Waimea, Jardine has worked in public relations for more than 24 years in PR. Most recently she worked at Fairmont Orchid Hawaii for more than 10 years in catering and public relations. She began her career in Boulder, Colorado, handling community relations for the University of Colorado. Subsequently, she was promoted to community liaison for the City of Boulder, addressing public affairs.
