Lisa Deshano, of Play by Design, wraps up "Design Day" at Kealakehe Elementary School with her schematic plan for the school's new playground. All day kids came up with ideas and made drawings their ideal playground. Many of the students' ideas are in incorperated into Deshano's plans. The playground will take roughly 6-7 days to build once the project is started. First, the money needs to be raised and volunteers need to be found. Fundraising is expected to go through the summer and into the next school year. (Rick Winters/West Hawaii Today)
