KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii County will not participate in the monthly test of the island’s outdoor warning siren system scheduled for today.

Hawaii County Civil Defense said the sirens will not sound at 11:45 a.m. today because of the ongoing Kilauea volcano eruption.
