The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 2:24 p.m. centered in the vicinity of the south side of Kilauea on Tuesday.

This earthquake was not large enough to cause a tsunami for Hawaii Island. There is no tsunami threat to Hawaii Island.
