KAILUA-KONA — Jeff Keith has been promoted to regional advertising director for the Big Island.

In his new role, Keith will oversee advertising sales for the Hawaii Tribune-Herald and West Hawaii Today as well as Big Island 101 Things to Do and Drive Big Island, the official magazine for National, Alamo and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He was previously regional sales manager for 101 Things to Do and Drive.

Keith brings a successful advertising and marketing background, which began in 1982 in radio and television station management at various properties in Missouri, Wyoming and Montana. In 2000, he started his own advertising agency and publishing company, and created Distinctly Montana Magazine, a high-end lifestyle magazine still printing today.

In 2012, Jeff sold his business and moved to Honaunau to become a coffee farmer and has developed multiple award-winning coffees.
