Yukito Takamoto
Mr. Yukito Takamoto, 103, of Kealakekua, died May 29, 2018 at his residence. Born on Sept. 27, 1914, in Kealakekua, he was a retired stone mason. He was a member of Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Kona Machi Kumi, Kumamoto Kenjin Kai; International Union of Bricklayers &Allied Craftworkers Local 1.
Private services were held. The family requests no monetary offerings.
He is survived by his wife, Katsumi Takamoto of Kealakekua; daughters, Janet Fujikawa of Kealakekua, Sharon Hynynen of St. George, Utah, and Judy Amano of Kona; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Fukuichi Higa
Fukuichi “Red” Higa, 96, of Mountain View, died June 3, 2018, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Mountain View, he was a retired engineering technician for the Hawaii State Department of Transportation Highways Division, U.S. Army World War II veteran and member of Puna Hongwanji Mission, Baldwin Kumiai, No Hu Hu Golf Club and HGEA Retirees Golf Club.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by wife, Masae Higa of Mountain View; daughter, Frances (Russell) Lum of Honolulu; sons, Randy (Audrey) Higa of Honolulu, Miles Higa of Portland, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

Anna Keohuloa
Anna Keohuloa, 87, of Kailua-Kona, died June 15, 2018, at Larry’s Care Home in Kailua-Kona. Born Nov. 20, 1930, in Hookena, she was a macadamia nut sorter for Hawaiian Host Candies. She was a member of the Kaahumanu Society and Daughters of Hawaii.
A celebration of life will be 10 a.m. June 30 at Pukaana Congregational Church in Kealia. The family requests casual attire.
She is survived by her brothers, Paul (Dolores) Keohuloa of South Point, George Kamaka of Hilo, Phillip Keohuloa of Kealakekua; sisters, Sarah Hose of Kailua-Kona, Harriet Wentworth of Olympia, Wash., Maria Hayamoto of Hilo; two sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
